This packaging innovation uses very small adhesive dots to hold cans and PET containers together, making it one of the most sustainable secondary packaging options available on the market today. In collaboration with KHS, our unique adhesive enables brand owners to significantly reduce packaging materials for six-pack aluminum cans and PET bottles. While PET bottle designs may require slight adjustments, this can be easily addressed.

H.B. Fuller's adhesives for KHS Multipack bundles are specially formulated for PET and aluminum surfaces. Applied by KHS equipment, small adhesive dots maintain pack integrity throughout production, shipping, and retail, yet allow easy opening at home.

With Multipack bundles, you use up to 85% less packaging than traditional cardboard systems, saving up to 67% in energy during production. The system is fully recyclable, with the PET bottle plus adhesive combination certified by the European PET Bottle Platform for PET bottle-to-bottle recycling, and has a negligible impact on aluminum can recycling.

Keel Clip™ is a rigid paper fastener that replaces plastic rings, tops, and shrink wrap on aluminum can multi-packs, offering unique merchandising benefits. This innovative, recyclable paperboard packaging solution from Graphic Packaging International reduces plastic usage and is fully recyclable.

In collaboration with Graphic Packaging, our custom-designed Advantra® hot melt adhesives enable brand owners to reduce plastic usage for six-pack aluminum cans. The adhesive is applied to the rigid paper keel and cans, securely closing the packaging while withstanding shipping and storage conditions. Consumers can easily carry the multipack home, and the cans are simple to remove with a twist, leaving the adhesive on the paperboard.

Once consumed, the Keel Clip™ carton board is fully recyclable, with adhesives that separate cleanly during the repulping process, ensuring a high fiber yield as certified by the CTP institute in France.
