ProSpec Concrete Resurfacer is designed for applications ½” down to a featheredge and is polymer modified so it will bond well to old properly prepared concrete. It is fast-drying and walkable in 2 hours.
SSD stands for saturated surface dry. This means ensuring that the outer surface of the concrete is saturated with water but does not have any standing water on the surface – as if the surface had been dried with a towel. This is important because if the surface is not SSD, the concrete can end up absorbing too much water from the repair material being applied to it. This can cause an excessive amount of shrinkage of the repair material.
